Job summary

CalvertHealth in Maryland seeks a Cancer Program Coordinator to support clinical and administrative oncology teams, working with the Director of Oncology Services to develop, organize, implement and monitor accreditation activities and Duke Cancer Network affiliation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or Public Health, Master’s preferred, and at least 5 years of leadership and project management experience with strong organizational and communication

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related discipline; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership and project management experience.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and collaborating with diverse groups.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to delegate and negotiate.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Director of Oncology Services with administrative tasks.
  • Maintain calendars, schedules, and appointments.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain accreditation, regulatory, and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings, conferences, events, and travel arrangements.
  • Prepare agendas, materials, and minutes; organize electronic/paper filing systems.
  • Ensure standardized administrative processes; act as primary contact for stakeholders.
  • Draft communications, memos, and reports; document inter-team coordination.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality; track project timelines and deliverables.
  • Coordinate oncology committee work and quality/project initiatives; support policy development.
