Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians across our network. You will assist with procedures, perform venipuncture and basic laboratory tasks, and ensure quality control and equipment maintenance.

A Florida driver's license for travel to clinics is required. Requirements include at least one year of clinic or physician’s office experience, a high school diploma or GED, and BLS certification within 30 days.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a medical assistant in a clinic or physician’s office with venipuncture preferred.
• Valid Florida driver’s license is needed for travel to the clinics.
• High school diploma or GED is required and will be required to produce at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with medical procedures in office.
• Responsible for phlebotomy, laboratory testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance.
