Job summary

Fidelity Partners is seeking a Board-Certified General Oncology Physician for the VA Western New York Healthcare System in Buffalo, NY. This on-site role provides inpatient and outpatient oncology consultations with on-call coverage, 24 hours per week distributed over three days, and a 17-week on-call schedule throughout the year.

Qualifications include an unrestricted medical license in the U.S., ABIM Medical Oncology certification, BLS/ACLS, NPI and DEA, VA credentialing, and ongoing CME.

Qualifications

• Must hold a medical degree with full license to practice in the U.S.
• Board certification in Medical Oncology by ABIM.
• BLS/ACLS or approved equivalents.
• NPI and active DEA registration for duties.
• Ability to obtain VA credentialing and privileges.
• Maintain CME/licenses and VA training throughout.
• Fluent English in reading/writing/speaking.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient oncology consults and treatment per scope and privileges.
• Evaluate and triage oncology consults from Primary Care and other services.
• Obtain histories, perform exams, order tests, establish diagnoses, and develop treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team and ensure timely documentation.
