Job summary

The Cancer & Hematology Centers in Michigan is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to lead the Pharmacy Technician staff and support inventory, billing compliance and purchasing. The role may operate as a staff-level technician when needed.

This onsite position offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus and requires Michigan-licensed Pharmacy Technician credentials, plus experience in retail or infusion pharmacy; Oncology and management experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Licensed Michigan Pharmacy Technician.
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
Experience in retail and/or infusion pharmacy.
Oncology and management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage Pharmacy Technicians workloads to obtain optimal technician team performance.
Monitor Pharmacy Technician staff performance and conduct formal performance reviews; take corrective action as needed.
Oversee Pharmacy Technician staff scheduling including time and travel reimbursement records in line with policies.
Assist in training new technicians to ensure policy and procedures compliance.
Interpret and analyze detailed pharmacy reports for management review.
Assist in reconciliation of retail pharmacy claims and payments.
