Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM, seeks a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Under a pharmacist’s supervision, you will fill medication orders, perform non-sterile compounding, prep and label, and deliver medications to units.

You’ll gain experience with Pyxis, Pharmogistics and CII safe, and will train to complete sterile products compounding for outpatient oncology. Day shifts, Monday–Friday, with 2–4 extra shifts per month.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Pharmacy Tech State of NM license.
• PTCB or NHA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Fill medication orders for inpatient and outpatient areas.
• Non-sterile compounding, labeling and repackaging.
• Use of Pyxis, Pharmogistics, CII safe.
• Deliver supplies to patient units.
• Maintain records for controlled substances.
