Job summary

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Cranberry, PA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our oncology-focused team. This full-time role supports sterile and nonsterile medication preparation, filling, and distribution with emphasis on patient care.

This position offers daytime hours, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays, and includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Filling: assist in filling medication orders with labeling, counting and stocking.
• Prepare proper oral and injectable medications (including IV admixtures and TPN) for the correct patient.
• Work in sterile product area handling cytotoxic and hazardous drugs using aseptic technique.
• Distribute medications per department policy and ensure secure storage and handling.
• Provide information to hospital staff, patients, and visitors while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
