Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from accredited Pharmacy Technician School.
- Pharmacy Technician (CA DCA) Registration.
- Ability to perform dose calculations and ensure accuracy in product selection with aseptic/ Hazardous drug compounding.
Responsibilities
- Assist in drug distribution and intravenous admixture under pharmacist supervision.
- Operate Pyxis dispensing systems and ensure correct medication barcoding.
- Utilize Texium system for chemotherapy preparation.
- Generate charges by calculating and recording medications.
- Maintain a safe, clean pharmacy and complete logs and expiration tracking.
- Assist with inventory management including restocking and rotating medications.
