Job summary

Novant Health's Oncology Pharmacy team in Charlotte seeks a Pharmacy Technician III - Certified to support outpatient chemotherapy and sterile compounding, ensuring accurate preparation and timely delivery of medications.

With required hospital experience and sterile compounding, you will work Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm across the Cancer Institute Ballantyne location, collaborating with pharmacists and other care teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-year/Associate degree preferred (required for validating duties).
• Certification with PTCB or NHA within 60 days of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Compound and deliver sterile admixtures (hazardous and non-hazardous).
• Process refills to automated dispensing machines and replenish kits/carts.
• Maintain USP797/800, Board of Pharmacy, DHHS, and DEA regulatory compliance.
• Procure medications and supplies; support calls to pharmacists as needed.
• Travel to other cancer institutes/infusion centers when required.
