Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician License in the State of California in good standing.
• Available to work various shifts and locations including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Experience compounding non-hazardous and hazardous preparations.
• Ability to maintain drug inventory and usage log and order drugs as needed to maintain an appropriate supply on hand.
• Ability to speak with persons of various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds to obtain information and explain procedures.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with fellow technicians, pharmacists, volunteers and individuals in other work areas, and in a high volume under the stress of frequent interruptions and/or distractions.
• Strong communication, organizational, prioritizing, and follow-through skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile products, including chemotherapy, investigational drugs, and biologics.
• Ensure smooth operations by maintaining inventory, organizing your workspace, and keeping supplies well-stocked and ordered on time.
• Take on various tasks assigned by pharmacy management to help us achieve operational excellence.
