Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to perform delegated tasks under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, assisting in patient care, and supporting REMS medications within USP/GCP guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; completed an accredited Pharmacy Technician program or eligible for licensure as per Florida statutes.
• 2 years as a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) with experience in unit dose, pharmacy orders, inventory systems, and REMS/pharmacy automation.
• Knowledge of USP clean room practices and GCP guidelines; ability to work under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Initiate or receive communications with patient, provider, and team members to facilitate patient care.
• Process prescriptions and assist in medication preparation, including investigational or REMS medications.
• Assist with inventory stewardship, records maintenance, and reporting as required by law.
