Georgia Oncology and Hematology Consultants is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support medication preparation, dispensing, and sterile compounding in the clinic under licensed supervision. You will ensure accurate dispensing, maintain inventory, and coordinate with nursing, physicians, and vendors.

The role requires a minimum of three years in a healthcare setting as a Pharmacy Technician, PTCB certification or active registration, and occasional travel to educational and research meetings.

Qualifications

  • PTCB certification or registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
  • Minimum of three years in healthcare, preferably in a clinical setting.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to educational and research meetings.
  • Valid State Driver's License for travel to clinics.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and mix chemotherapy drugs under licensed supervision and state regulations.
  • Maintain proficiency with the Nucleus dispensing system and ensure accurate dispensing.
  • Review next-day orders with nursing staff to anticipate special medication needs.
  • Order, stock, and track medical supplies, ensuring appropriate levels and minimal waste.
  • Maintain records for compassionate drug programs, clinical trials, and related processes.
