Job summary

The START Center for Cancer Research in San Antonio, TX seeks a Pharmacy Technician to prepare chemotherapy and biologic therapies, and to manage inventory and documentation per USP, state, federal, and GCP standards.

Responsibilities include aseptic preparation, drug accountability, and timely reporting. Requires CPhT and 2+ years of chemo/biologic therapy experience. Excellent teamwork and compliance focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Mix and label chemotherapy and biologic therapies.
• Maintain inventory of drugs and supplies.
• Prepare parenteral dosage forms using aseptic technique.
• Record drug accountability and storage logs for monitors.
• Meet regulatory and GCP guidelines for investigational meds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and label chemotherapy, biologic therapy and supportive care medications.
• Interact with study monitors by providing drug accountability reports and temperature storage logs.
• Maintain and generate reports through applicable computer programs.
