Job summary

HireVenture is seeking a Pharmacy Manager – Hematology/Oncology in Boston, MA. This onsite, full-time leadership role directs oncology pharmacy operations, improves patient safety, and partners with clinical leadership to deliver high-quality care.

Competitive salary range is $160,000–$180,000 with comprehensive benefits. The ideal candidate will oversee staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a degree in Pharmacy (Bachelor’s degree or PharmD) from an accredited program.
• Licensure as a pharmacist in Massachusetts by hire date is required.
• Experience in Hematology/Oncology pharmacy is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Hematology/Oncology pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and SOPs to promote safe, efficient services.
• Oversee medication procurement, preparation, storage, dispensing, and distribution.
• Manage high-cost medications and specialty therapies.
• Lead projects and provide on-call support as needed.
• Collaborate with clinical leaders to improve patient outcomes and safety.
• Mentor and develop pharmacy staff and residents.
