JobRx, Inc. in Boston, MA, seeks a Lead Hematology & Oncology Pharmacy Operations leader to oversee daily operations of the Hematology & Oncology Pharmacy Department in an academic medical center.

This full-time leadership role emphasizes quality, patient safety, and operational excellence, guiding staffing, budgeting, medication management, and regulatory compliance. You will mentor pharmacists and residents, collaborating with clinicians to improve patient outcomes in oncology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD required
• Massachusetts Pharmacist License by Hire Date required
• PGY1 Residency plus PGY2 Specialty/HSPAL Residency preferred
• PGY1 Residency plus 2 Years Relevant Experience acceptable
• 4 Years Relevant Pharmacy Experience required
• Previous Pharmacy Leadership Experience required
• Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong Leadership, Operational and Financial Management skills required
• Experience with Quality Improvement and Regulatory Compliance required

Responsibilities

• Manage clinical and operational pharmacy services in Hematology & Oncology
• Lead quality improvement and medication safety initiatives
• Supervise recruitment, scheduling, evaluations, and staff development
• Manage specialty drug utilization and departmental budgets
• Support regulatory compliance and accreditation standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams to improve patient outcomes
• Assist with strategic planning and operational projects
• Mentor pharmacy residents, students, and clinical staff
