Job summary
Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Clinical Informatics Coordinator, Pharmacy to lead the integration of evidence-based medication safety and decision support within our EHR. You will partner with BIDMC Pharmacy and IT to optimize medication builds and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
In this role you will educate end users, participate in system-wide testing, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and analysts to advance patient outcomes across BIDMC.
Qualifications
- Pharm.D. or B.S. in Pharmacy required.
- MA Pharmacist License in Massachusetts required.
- At least 3 years in a clinical pharmacy setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Partner with BIDMC Pharmacy and IT System Services to vet new medication builds for safety.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize medication-related requests by urgency and impact.
- Advise on clinical decision support functionalities in the EHR system.
- Work with pharmacists, physicians, nurses, and IT analysts on clinical safety of medication builds.
- Develop and validate medication records, order sets, and alerts in the EHR.
- Ensure regulatory and practice standards compliance for medication-related builds.
