Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an Ambulatory Pharmacy Supervisor to lead the clinical practice and daily operations across ambulatory and satellite sites. You will work under the Director of Ambulatory & Infusion Pharmacy Services to maintain high standards of patient care and workflow efficiency.

The role requires Massachusetts Pharmacist License, 3+ years of pharmacist practice, and strong leadership abilities to guide staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive quality initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy required.
• Massachusetts Pharmacist License required.
• 3+ years pharmacist practice experience required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated supervision/management skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and multitask.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Practice and credentialing per Massachusetts Board, DPH, FDA, and DEA requirements.
• Review and verify medication orders with patient-specific parameters.
• Document and communicate with healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide drug information to physicians, nurses and other health professionals.
• Supervise students, technicians, and residents within the pharmacist area.
• Promote patient safety and investigate/assist with medication errors and corrective actions.
• Participate in quality assurance metrics and department initiatives.
• Coordinate maintenance and troubleshooting of local technologies (dispensing cabinets, temp monitoring, USP <797>/<800> compliant cleanrooms).
