Job summary

Ocala Oncology Center/Florida Cancer Affiliates is seeking a PRN Pharmacist to join our Ocala practice. You will compound and dispense medications, maintain records, and consult with medical staff to ensure safe and effective therapy.

The role requires attention to drug interactions, dosage calculations, and adherence to safety and compliance standards. Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy with state licensure and at least three years of experience as a licensed pharmacist;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of pharmacy and state licensure.
• Minimum three years' experience as a registered pharmacist.
• Oncology background preferred; IV skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and dispenses medication orders.
• Maintains patient profiles and reviews drug data for interactions.
• Verifies orders for insurance approvals and authorizations.
• Admixes drugs per guidelines and ensures OSHA compliance.
• Provides drug information and counseling to patients and staff.
