Responsibilities

• Prepares and dispenses medication orders.

• Checks orders for completeness and proper physician authorization.
• Ensures insurance approval before admixing and prepares drugs per guidelines.
• Verifies dosage and converts metric and apothecary units as needed.
• Manages technician workflow and oversees labeling and charges.
