What You’ll Be Doing:

Role Overview: The Oncology Pharmacist collaborates with clinical teams, service organizations, and provider solutions to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide education to providers and pharmacists on value-based care initiatives, pathways, policies, and utilization management solutions.
  • Introduce innovative, evidence-supported initiatives with initial data.
  • Develop publications such as drug reviews, white papers, and journal articles.
  • Support development and review of clinical and health plan policies, workflows, job aids, drug pricing, and related activities, including FDA alerts.
  • Present pathway recommendations at scientific advisory meetings.
  • Assist in pathway and drug list decision-making processes.
  • Provide clinical support through maintenance of oncology-related FAQs, prior authorizations, treatment lists, regimens, and case reviews.
  • Review treatment requests, including clinical trials and drug requests.
  • Participate in or lead internal and external meetings, including national conferences.
  • Potentially serve as the clinical lead (SME) on the Rules Manager Team.
  • Travel up to 15% for external meetings.
Qualifications - Required and Preferred:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and active pharmacist license without restrictions.
  • Board-Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) is strongly recommended but optional.
  • At least 4 years of oncology-related experience as a subject matter expert or similar role.
  • At least 2 years of experience in provider engagement and value-based care education.
  • Experience managing complex projects and multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Experience reviewing clinical trials and utilizing data to improve patient outcomes.
  • Experience in publishing abstracts, articles, and posters.
Technical Requirements:

Employees must have high-speed internet (>10 Mbps) at home and, for call center roles, the ability to connect directly to the home router. These requirements may change with office reopenings.

Compensation and Benefits:

Base salary: $150,000 - $160,000. Eligible for a performance-based bonus. Comprehensive benefits, including health insurance. Compensation varies based on skills and experience.
