Job summary

Good Shepherd Health Care System in Hermiston, Oregon is seeking an Oncology Pharmacist responsible for the safe delivery of medications to hematology/oncology patients. This role includes compounding medications, monitoring therapy regimens, and educating patients. A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a current pharmacist license are required. Qualifications

• Current Pharmacist’s license issued by the Oregon State Board of Pharmacy.
• Basic Life Support certification with expectation of Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within first year of hire.
• Postgraduate residency with oncology focus or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately compound and dispense pharmaceuticals including hazardous medications.
• Monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications, interactions, allergies.
• Aid in the creation and modification of hematology/oncology treatment plans.
