Hunterdon Hematology Oncology, LLC is seeking a Pharmacist to support an oncology/hematology patient population with medication management, treatment planning, and education. You will lead compounding, ensure compliance, and collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager and team to optimize protocols and infusion safety.

The role emphasizes patient-centered pharmaceutical care, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional teamwork within an in-person clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy management or similar role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medication administration and compounding procedures.

Responsabilités

• Ensure HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality.
• Oversee medication administration and ensure accurate compounding.
• Collaborate with providers on effective pain management strategies.
• Utilize pharmacy software to track prescriptions and manage records.
• Maintain inventory, order medications, and verify receipts.
• Maintain a safe, compliant, and well-organized pharmacy environment.
• Read orders, prepare labels, and assemble therapies.
• Assist in obtaining pre-authorizations across departments.
• Transmit prescription refills.
• Support ACHC accreditation compliance.
