Job summary

White Plains Hospital Medical Center seeks an Oncology Pharmacist to provide clinical/dispensing services for the Hematology/Oncology units and infusion center, collaborating with physicians and staff to ensure safe, effective cancer care.

Requires 2–3 years hospital pharmacy experience; three annual CE hours in chemotherapy/oncology; NYS Pharmacist license; oncology certification preferred. Day shifts with alternating weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years hospital pharmacy experience.
• Three annual CE requirements must be in Chemotherapy/Oncology.
• Oncology certification by NYSCHP or BPS or equivalent preferred.
• Pharmacist - New York State Board of Pharmacy Required and BCOP/BPS preferred or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical/dispensing services for Hematology/Oncology units and infusion center.
• Review medication orders against patient profiles and hospital policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and staff to optimize cancer care and patient safety.
• Provide Staff Pharmacist/IV services as needed.
