Qualified applicants have a NY license, 2–3 years hospital pharmacy experience, and PharmD or BS with extensive oncology training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
• Active NY Pharmacist license required.
• 2–3 years hospital pharmacy experience required; hematology/oncology exposure favored.
• Strong knowledge of oncology pharmacotherapy, IV meds, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense oncology medications per treatment plans.
• Evaluate orders, patient profiles, dosing, interactions for safe therapy.
• Provide chemotherapy/infusion support and IV medication management.
• Promote patient safety through education and safe handling practices.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to optimize care.
• Support daily pharmacy operations and staff coverage as needed.
