Job summary

VillageMD is seeking an Oncology Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care in the Infusion Pharmacy, overseeing the preparation of IV admixtures and ensuring high standards of labeling, accuracy, and safety. You will collaborate with physicians and health professionals to optimize regimens while maintaining USP-797/USP-800 compliance.

The role requires a PharmD, CT Pharmacist license, and board certification, with 2–4 years of oncology experience (5+ preferred).

Qualifications

• PharmD degree and valid CT Pharmacist license required.
• Board certifications in pharmacology preferred; Oncology experience required.
• 2–4 years oncology pharmacy experience; 5+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and review treatment orders accurately and efficiently.
• Supervise preparation of IV admixtures; ensure labeling accuracy.
• Collaborate with health care professionals to optimize therapy and safety.
• Participate in medication safety initiatives and education of staff.
• Maintain compliance with USP-797 & USP-800 in sterile compounding.
