Job summary

Hartford HealthCare at Home in Connecticut is seeking an Infusion Outpatient Pharmacist to oversee the CSP area in our oncology infusion center, ensuring safe, accurate compounded sterile products and compliant operations.

You will lead training and competency assessments, monitor quality assurance, and collaborate with the cancer institute team to support exceptional patient care.

This role supports a cutting-edge network delivering coordinated cancer services across Hartford HealthCare.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy; Pharm.D. strongly preferred.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Pharmacy quality, safety and environmental control requirements.
• Effective verbal, written and listening communication.
• Excellent interpersonal and counseling skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with medical staff and colleagues.

The Infusion Outpatient Pharmacist will work within the HHCI free standing oncology infusion center; overseeing the daily operations of the Compounded Sterile Products (CSP) area; assists in meeting regulatory compliance; and monitors training and competency assessment and quality assurance/control.

Qualifications:

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Doctorate in Pharmacy ( Pharm.D.) strongly preferred

Experience

• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
