Hartford HealthCare seeks a Pharmacy Manager to oversee pharmacy operations, medication review, storage, distribution, and regulatory processes. You will partner with clinical leadership to implement initiatives and ensure safe, compliant medication use.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist credentialed from CT Department of Consumer Protection before hire date.
• Doctor of Pharmacy degree is required.
• Hospital pharmacy experience with supervisory responsibilities preferred.

The Pharmacy Manager provides supervisory oversight to pharmacy staff. Oversees the day-to-day management of pharmacy operational and regulatory processes, including functions related to: medication order review, medication storage and preparation, drug distribution, controlled substance oversight, and provision of drug information. Works with clinical leadership to operationalize initiatives. Supports HHC culture by modeling Core values (Integrity, Caring, Excellence, and Safety) and Leadership behaviors.

Qualifications:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Licensed Pharmacist credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Doctor of Pharmacy

Work Experience:

• 3 years hospital pharmacist experience required or 5 years of general pharmacist experience including 3 years of supervisory experience
