Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking an Assistant Patient Care Manager for Specialty MCC OR to lead nursing operations in a high-volume oncology setting in Tampa, FL. The role focuses on quality patient care, staff mentorship, and clinical support across inpatient and ambulatory units.

Requirements include Florida RN licensure with ACLS for specified units, a BSN (or ASN with BSN in progress), and 3+ years of nursing leadership experience, preferably in oncology.

Qualifications

• Graduate of state- accredited nursing program; BSN required or ASN with BSN in progress within 2 years.
• Current Florida RN license; ACLS designation required for BMT, SCU, Telemetry.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• Minimum three years nursing experience in acute care or ambulatory setting.
• Demonstrated leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing operations and ensure quality patient care.
• Mentor staff and provide clinical nursing support.
• Oversee clinical care performed by assigned nursing staff.
• Support department and organizational goals.
