Job summary

Minimum education includes a Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) with RN licensure and BLS; a Master's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum Field of Study: Nursing or other related field of study
• Associate’s degree with BSN in process, to be completed within University program guidelines, not to exceed four (4) years from date of hire.
• Preferred Education Level: Master’s Degree

• Preferred Education Notes: Licensure Certification Needed: Yes Minimum Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS) Minimum Licensure (Other):
• Training Required: Strong computer skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Advanced nursing skills; IV therapy, intervention with emergencies, teaching skills. Demonstrated competency in in-patient and out-patient best practices including patient care, technology, and processes

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day supervision of nursing operations and ensures quality patient care.
• Mentors staff and serves as a resource on clinical nursing issues.
• Oversees clinical care performed by assigned nursing staff.
