BJC HealthCare is seeking a dynamic Patient Access Supervisor to lead a team of Prior Authorization Specialists in the greater St. Louis area. This role combines operational leadership with direct patient engagement to ensure timely access to oncology care.

Responsibilities include managing daily operations, developing policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving process improvements to support patients and care teams. Must be located in the greater St. Louis area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years of experience in patient access or related role.
• Prior supervision experience of less than 2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily operations of Patient Access staff in assigned areas.
• Ensures regulatory and payer compliance while optimizing access functions (insurance verification, eligibility, authorization).
• Analyzes data and manages team performance to improve outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Leads special projects as assigned.
