Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients and families during check-in and check-out for cancer care visits
• Answer incoming calls, address patient questions, and schedule appointments with empathy and professionalism
• Support patients in enrolling in and using MyChart to stay connected to their care team
• Accurately enter and update demographic, insurance, and financial information to support smooth patient access and continuity of care
• Coordinate and communicate important information with physicians, nurses, and other members of the oncology care team
• Assist with insurance verification, authorizations, referrals, and billing-related questions
• Collect and process patient payments including copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and prior balances
• Help patients complete necessary forms and documentation related to their care
• Manage EPIC work queues, worklists, in-basket messages, and document scanning in a timely and accurate manner
• Schedule follow-up appointments, referrals, and diagnostic services to support continuity of cancer treatment
