Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the PACU team at the McKinley Campus (Out-Patient Center). The ideal candidate will provide individualized quality nursing care to cancer patients and families, using the nursing process within established guidelines and the Duffy's caring framework.

Responsibilities include patient education, collaboration with the care team, and participation in professional development according to nursing standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong IV skills required.
• 3 years of Procedural experience preferred.
• RN licensure in Florida (or multi-state privilege) and primary state of residence in FL within 60 days of hire.
• BLS and ACLS required at time of hire for designated areas.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate care for cancer patients and families.
• Delivers patient education based on learning needs.
• Participates in evidence-based improvement activities in the area of practice.
• Maintains documentation in line with standards and policies.
