Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CPhT certification must be obtained within 18 months.
• Florida-registered pharmacy technician license is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications by selecting, labeling, repackaging, non-sterile compounding and sterile compounding.
• Deliver medications to appropriate storage locations accurately and timely.
• Maintain inventory of medications and supplies; perform cycle counts and unit inspections.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and document regulatory requirements such as temperature logs and trainings.
• Communicate with caregivers and patients; participate in team huddles and training.
