UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an Oncology Nursing Supervisor for the Genitourinary Cancer Clinic in Dallas. The role oversees nursing staff, ensures high-quality patient care, and maintains compliance with care standards.

A ADN is required, with 5 years of nursing experience including 1 year in supervision and an active RN license with BLS at hire. The position offers collaboration within a renowned cancer center, opportunities for professional growth, and a comprehensive benefits

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Required

Education

Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Experience

5 years Of general nursing to include and1 year Of supervisory experience

Licenses and Certifications

(RN) REGISTERED NURSE Licensure as Registered Nurse by Board of Nurse Examiners for State of Texas Upon Hire and(BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT Upon Hire

Job Duties

• Oversees and/or teaches others specialized knowledge and skills necessary to perform techniques and routines in area of specialty.
• Provides operational management of daily patient care services.
• Assesses, monitors, and evaluates systems for delivery of care.
• Assists in development of patient care standards of practice and personnel performance.
• Designs, executes, and delivers effective system of internal controls applicable and in compliance to laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
• Facilitates teamwork through planned group processes, (i.e., workshops, seminars, and staff meetings).
• Supervises nursing staff and/or other non-licensed medical or office support personnel.
• May provide direct patient care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
