Job summary

Northeastern University’s School of Nursing invites applications for multiple full-time open rank tenure-track/tenured positions at Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor levels with an anticipated start date in 2027.

We seek candidates with research programs aligned to advancing health for everyone across the healthspan, especially in oncology within nursing, and who can collaborate across Bouvé College and Northeastern University.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree (PhD or equivalent) in Nursing or related field by employment start date.
• Evidence of an established area of research and scholarship, teaching excellence, and global environment commitment.
• Nursing degrees must be eligible for MA licensure.
• Strong scholarly record indicating potential for external funding and research leadership.
• Academic rank commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses.
• Conduct an independent externally funded research program.
• Participate in departmental, college, and university service.
• Mentor and work with a global student population.
