Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking an Assistant Patient Care Manager to supervise nursing operations and ensure high-quality patient care. The role mentors staff and serves as a resource on clinical nursing issues while supporting department and organizational goals.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Nursing, RN licensure, BLS, and at least three years of acute or ambulatory nursing experience; oncology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field; BSN in process to be completed within 4 years.
• RN license and BLS required.
• Minimum three years nursing experience in an acute or ambulatory setting.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day supervision of nursing operations and ensures quality patient care.
• Mentors staff and supports clinical nursing issues to meet department and organization goals.
• Manages clinical care performed by assigned nursing staff.
