Job summary

United Urology Group is seeking a Clinical Lead, Oncology Nurse to serve as the clinical and operational leader for nursing services in the outpatient oncology practice. This hands‑on role combines direct patient care with daily clinical oversight to ensure safe, high‑quality care and efficient infusion workflows.

The role partners with providers, pharmacy, revenue cycle, and leadership to optimize outcomes, compliance, and practice performance while maintaining a patient‑centered approach.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice
• BSN degree required
• Oncology nursing experience (3–5 years) preferred
• ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification or willingness to obtain
• Strong knowledge of oncology workflows and chemotherapy safety

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations of the infusion suite and nursing workflows
• Ensure adherence to oncology standards and chemotherapy safety
• Monitor treatment plan accuracy and documentation integrity
• Serve as escalation point for clinical concerns and adverse events
• Promote safety culture and evidence‑based practice
• Coordinate staffing and patient flow to optimize chair utilization
• Oversee end‑of‑day MAR reconciliation and charge capture readiness
• Collaborate with pharmacy, authorization, and RCM teams
• Provide supervision and mentorship to nursing staff
• Support care coordination and patient education across the team
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance
