Job summary

The START Center for Cancer Research in Charlotte, NC seeks a Director of Nursing to supervise clinic nurses, infusion nurses, nurse navigators, referral intake team and schedulers. You will guide professional development and ensure high-quality care through processes and systems in your departments.

Lead cross-functional teams, uphold regulatory standards (GCP/GDPR) and collaborate with regulatory, quality and finance partners while driving enrollment goals and efficient patient care workflows

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• RN license in good standing with state.
• ONS/ONCC chemotherapy immunotherapy certificate preferred.
• Knowledge of GCP, GDPR and federal clinical research regulations required in US and Europe.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications and clinical documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective, proactive leadership to nursing and support staff.
• Provide training and ensure competency of staff and management team.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and quality standards across departments.
• Coordinate care plans and scheduling with patients and teams for timely visits.
• Support study coordinators and nurse educators in clinical research operations.
• Develop training to support compliance with quality standards.
