Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferred.
- Experience working in an oncology clinical setting is highly preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- NP-focused Master’s degree required.
- Successful completion of a National NP board certification exam.
- DEA registration and license preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess oncology patients' symptoms and contribute to treatment plan decisions.
- Update patient records using electronic medical records (EMR).
- Collaborate with oncologists on changes to symptoms or treatment plans.
- Manage medications and symptom control for patients.
- Perform physical examinations as part of patient assessment.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
