Job summary

Cancer Care of North Florida in Lake City, FL is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) for our Medical Oncology clinic. The NP will assess patients, recommend treatment plans, manage medications, and collaborate with physicians to adjust care as needed.

Requirements include at least 1 year of NP experience, NP board certification, and oncology experience preferred. DEA license is a plus. Competitive salary with a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Cancer Care of North Florida - Lake City, FL

We are hiring for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) at Cancer Care of North Florida at our Medical Oncology clinic in Lake City, FL. This person is responsible for assessing patients in the clinic, recommending treatment plans, medication management, symptom management, and working closely with the physicians to make any changes to treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Assess oncology patients' symptoms and make suggestions and recommendations on individual treatment plans
• Update patient records using electronic medical records
• Work closely with oncologists for any changes in symptoms or individual treatment plans
• Medication Management
• Symptom Management
• Conduct physical examinations
• Comply with all HIPAA laws regarding patient confidentiality

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferred Bachelor's degree of Science in Nursing NP-focused Masters degree
• Successfully passed a National Nurse Practitioner board certification exam
• Previous experience working within oncology in a clinical setting, highly preferred
• Oncology certification a plus
• Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration and license, preferred

Anticipated salary range: $84,800-$140,500 Bonus eligible: No
