Job Description
This role involves performing procedures such as bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures in the oncology department, primarily during daytime hours.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing clinical leadership and comprehensive patient assessments in collaboration with physicians.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, establishing diagnoses, and developing treatment plans.
• Performing invasive procedures and participating in patient rounds.
• Communicating care plans with team members, patients, and families, including education and counseling.
• Facilitating patient flow and discharge planning with multidisciplinary teams.
• Providing educational programs and mentoring to staff and students.
• Participating in quality improvement, research, and organizational initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing with certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Maryland.
• Current CPR certification; ACLS/BCLS as required.
• At least one year of nursing experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
