Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health, Inc. is seeking an oncology nurse for an in-person role with flexibility to work from home. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patients and families through the cancer care continuum from diagnosis to end of life.

Responsibilities include triage, care coordination, and assisting with sterile procedures across Beverly and Gloucester campuses. A BSN is preferred and OCN/ONS certification is encouraged within one year.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of recent oncology nursing experience required.
• Graduate - approved School of Nursing.
• BSN Preferred, OCN/ONS preferred (must obtain within one year of employment if not certified).

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with physicians, nurses, pharmacy, social work, and staff to support oncology patients.
• Provides phone triage to support patient care and symptom management from home.
• Manages oral prescriptions, referrals, and follow-up to maintain continuity of care.
• Assists hematology/oncology physicians in sterile procedures (bone marrow biopsies).
• Participates in multidisciplinary tumor boards and department committees.
• Floats to IV Infusion and cross-campus between Beverly and Gloucester.
