Job summary

Meadville Medical Center in Meadville, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Navigator for Oncology on dayshift. This full-time, on-site role coordinates nursing care and collaborates with the oncology team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include documenting observations, educating patients and families, administering medications including chemotherapy, and mentoring staff. ONS chemotherapy course is preferred; current RN license is required.

Qualifications

• Professional nursing knowledge typical of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Two to three years oncology experience; competent intravenous skills.
• ONS chemotherapy provider course required within 6 months; OCN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reports observations, changes, and reactions to physician or supervisor.
• Plans and documents health teaching with patient/family.
• Assesses patient condition and develops plan of care with revisions.
• Administers medications, including chemotherapy per policy.
• Directs and evaluates nursing care and assists physicians.
