Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Nursing Care Coordinator to support diagnostic care planning for cancer patients at the First Hill campus in Seattle. You will collaborate with providers to coordinate education, referrals, and care throughout the diagnosis and treatment planning stages.

The role requires a BSN, Washington RN license, and at least 3 years of Oncology/Breast Care experience; OCN certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing required.
• Washington RN license required; BSN degree preferred to advance.
• OCN certification and/or breast care certification desirable; equivalent education/experience may substitute for minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Administer a navigational program to assist and expedite diagnostic care from abnormality through diagnosis.
• Collaborate with providers to provide support, education, referrals, and coordination of care during diagnosis and treatment planning for cancer patients.
• Participate in a culture of patient-focused, whole-person care at Swedish First Hill.
