Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a dedicated nurse navigator to support diagnosis and treatment planning for patients with cancer or suspected cancer. You will collaborate with providers, coordinate education and referrals, and streamline navigation from abnormal discovery through diagnosis, ensuring patient-centered care.

Required BSN, Washington RN license, and BLS certification, with at least 3 years in Oncology or breast care.

Qualifications

• BSN required; or equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
• Washington Registered Nurse License
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 3 years of Oncology, Breast Care and health care delivery experience

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with providers to support diagnosis and treatment planning for patients with cancer or suspected cancer.
• Coordinate care, referrals, and education for patients during the diagnosis and treatment planning stages.
• Administer a navigational program to assist and expedite diagnostic care from discovery through diagnosis.
