University Medical Partners, in partnership with Stanford Medicine, seeks a full-time BC/BE Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a close-knit Oncology team in Pleasanton, CA. The role offers physician-led, multidisciplinary care with EPIC EMR and mentorship, with opportunities to participate in clinical trials and Survivorship programs.
The position emphasizes outpatient and inpatient oncology care, follow-ups during active therapy or surveillance, infusion center supervision,
Qualifications
- Active California NP or PA license.
- Board certification required.
- Minimum two years of PA/NP experience preferred.
- Oncology experience preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Epic EMR is a plus.
- Experience in a multi-specialty group and/or integrated health system.
Responsabilités
- Follow-ups for patients on active therapy or under surveillance.
- Supervise the infusion room and coordinate with RNs.
- Conduct cancer therapy education visits with patients and families.
- Order and interpret labs/radiology; assist with triage.
- Clinic-based care with occasional inpatient hospital rounding.
- Collaborate with Stanford University School of Medicine Faculty and participate in trials.
