Job summary

University Medical Partners in Pleasanton, CA, in partnership with Stanford Medicine, is seeking a full-time BC/BE Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a close-knit team of Medical Oncologists.

You will provide outpatient and inpatient oncology care, supervise the infusion, conduct cancer education visits, order labs, and collaborate with RNs; EPIC EMR experience is preferred; on-site care with no weekends and no on-call.

Qualifications

• Active California NP or PA license.
• Board certified.
• Minimum two years of PA/NP experience preferred.
• Oncology experience preferred but not required.
• Outstanding clinical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Support a team of Medical Oncologists in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Follow-ups for patients on active therapy or surveillance.
• Supervise infusion room and collaborate with RNs to manage side effects.
• Perform cancer therapy education visits with patient and family.
• Order and interpret labs and radiology as needed; assist triage.
• Primarily clinic-based: patient care, infusion supervision, care coordination.
• Collaborate with Stanford University School of Medicine Faculty.
• Participate in clinical trials, integrative oncology, survivorship, prevention.
