Job summary

New York Cancer & Blood Specialists seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to float among Nassau/Queens locations, Monday–Friday, 5/8.5-hour shifts. Join a team delivering expert oncology/hematology care with a patient-centered approach close to home.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited NP/PA program, current APRN/PA licensure, EMR experience a plus, and reliable transportation for multiple sites. Salary up to $165,000/year; comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
Current APRN Licensure or PA License.
At least 1 year of Oncology/Hematology experience (helpful but not required).
Strong computer skills; EMR experience is a plus.
Must have reliable transportation to travel to all locations listed.

Responsibilities

Manage health problems and coordinate care for Oncology/Hematology patients per regulations and nursing standards.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, evaluate status.
Collaborate with the health care team to prepare patients preoperatively and manage postoperative care.
Deliver patient-centered care to improve outcomes and patient experience.
