New York Cancer & Blood Specialists (NYCBS) seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to float across Smithtown and Port Jefferson locations. You will manage oncology/hematology patients, perform comprehensive assessments, and craft care plans in coordination with a multidisciplinary team.

You will participate in preoperative assessments and postoperative care, delivering patient-centered care to improve outcomes and patient experience.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current APRN or PA license.
• Oncology/Hematology experience preferred but not required.
• Strong computer skills; EMR experience a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage health problems and coordinate care for Oncology/Hematology patients in alignment with regulations and nursing standards.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient status.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to prepare patients preoperatively and manage postoperative clinical care.
• Deliver patient-centered care focused on improving outcomes and enhancing the patient experience.
