Job summary

Starling Oncology is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver high-quality oncology care in a collaborative, value-driven setting. You will perform exams, counsel patients, and collaborate with the care team while maintaining full clinical management of patients.

The role includes documentation in EMR, diagnostic workups, treatment planning, and potential bone marrow biopsy procedures. Hospital privileges are required to support call duties and ongoing patient care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing is required.
• Current and unrestricted license to practice (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant).
• National Certification required upon employment (Nurse Practitioners).
• Oncology experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Document patient information, visit history, labs, follow-ups in the EMR.
• Conduct in-depth patient interviews and develop medical histories.
• Perform or order diagnostic studies and interpret results.
• Develop and implement long and short-range treatment plans.
• Perform procedures such as bone marrow biopsy.
• Counsel patients and families on preventive care and treatments.
• Write medication orders subject to physician countersignature.
• Record progress and notify changes to the physician.
• Will need hospital privileges to assist with call.

Education

Master's degree in nursing

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certificate

Current and unrestricted license to practice

Oncology experience preferred
