At RWJBarnabas Health, our Oncology Clinical Navigators help patients and families find clarity, connection, and support throughout the cancer care journey. As a Clinical Navigator (RN), you'll guide patients across the continuum of oncology care, from diagnosis and treatment through survivorship, while coordinating closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team. Serving as an advocate, educator, counselor, and clinical resource, you'll help patients understand their care, navigate available services, and remain connected to the right resources at the right time. This role offers an opportunity to combine oncology nursing expertise with meaningful patient relationships and care coordination that reaches across care delivery settings.
To be considered for this Clinical Navigator opportunity, you must be a Registered Nurse with professional experience in oncology services and the clinical knowledge necessary to support patients throughout the continuum of cancer care. The ideal candidate demonstrates expertise in oncology nursing, patient navigation, care coordination, patient and caregiver education, advocacy, multidisciplinary collaboration, and hematology/oncology care management. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential, along with the ability to serve as a trusted liaison among patients, caregivers, referring physicians, clinical teams, and community partners. Candidates should be comfortable providing expert nursing care through direct clinical practice, consultation, education, care coordination, and research while maintaining a patient-centered approach throughout diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.
